I was trained as an Administrative and Personal Secretary/Stenographer and I have several years of training and working in the Accounting, Sales, Logistics and Customer Services Departments of the Anglo American Corporation and Exxonmobil.

My most recent training is as a student of the Bible and servant of the Most High God where, in addition to what I have learned from the Bible since I became a Christian 36 years ago; I was prepared to serve as a minister of the word of God, Christian worker and precounselor.

In direct response to my training as a minister, my husband and I founded the Community Prayer Centers Inc. a ministry that is working to help Christians rebuild their prayer lives, educate believers on the importance of prayer so they will mobilize their congregations to return to the heart of prayer and consecrate to God. Through this ministry of prayer, we are working to respond to the needs of our communities as God enlightens us.

God has gifted me with an ability to articulate his word and many other things in writing and as a teacher or conference speaker.

I am married, with 4 children and currently I am working on the following projects;

1. A novel on the Rwandan Genocide - (No, this is from a different perspective. If the only picture you have of the Hutus in Rwanda is of vicious blood hungry parasites out to eliminate their fellow countrymen, the Tutsis, this is an unbiased look at the victims and perpetrators).

2. A Women's Bible Study on a subject that haunts me daily as I meet and work in churches with my Christian brothers and sisters, Commitment (a very rare commodity)

3. A young adult story about the modern slave trade especially in the developing world as more and more women return to work.

4. A children's story about Christmas (really, this is a story about death, life, picking up the pieces, strengthening a whole community and celebrating all this under the giving theme of Christmas. As you can see it is an everyday book.

5. A biographical story about a family landing in America on the dawn of the economic sIump and the miraculous ways in which God sustains and establishes them.

6. A must read story about child health, the Aids pandemic and who is really winning the battle in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Some of these projects are ongoing, others are almost completed but some have been ongoing for years.

I am currently on my way to obtaining my Creative Non-Fiction Writing Degree.
